Sales Tax
Sales tax will be collected when applicable unless a tax exemption form is on file.
Payment
Customers may pay with certified check, credit or debit card, including MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
Customers may also be eligible for accounts with approved credit. Click here to download the credit application form. You will need Adobe Reader or an equivalent PDF viewer to open this file. This form may be downloaded and faxed to Summit Truck Bodies at (785) 989-3563. Please allow a minimum of ten business days for credit approval.
If you have an existing account you may enter a purchase order and verify your account information prior to shipment.
User Login
All customers are required to establish a user login. This allows customers the ability to check the status of orders, look at historical orders and have your shipping and billing information stored.
Security
Summit uses extensive and sophisticated secure technology to protect your data and transmissions between you, the summitbodies.com site, and parts professionals handling online orders.
Transmission between browsers and our web server is implemented using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This technology requires an SSL-capable browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or newer, or Netscape Navigator 2.0 or newer.
Although Summit has taken these reasonable and appropriate measures to ensure that your personal information is delivered and disclosed only in accordance with your instructions, Summit cannot and does not guarantee that the personal information you provide will not be intercepted by others and decrypted.
Minimum Order
A twenty-five dollar ($25) minimum is required on all orders.
Shipping and Handling
Summit Truck Bodies will make every effort to ship your orders as promptly as possible. In some cases the items will come directly from our supplier and there may be some delay. After placing an order we will notify you of the cost to ship, the final total of your order, and approximate time frame for delivery. At that point you have the option of either approving or canceling your order. Some items are too large or heavy to ship by UPS and must be shipped by truck; those charges will be quoted as well.
A $5.00 handling charge will be added to all orders.
Damaged Goods
If items are damaged upon receipt, the customer must contact Summit and receive a return authorization number and a return form. Returns will only be accepted with the return authorization number and completed return authorization form. All items must be returned in the condition received and if possible returned in the original packaging. All items must be returned to Summit within seven days of receipt.
